Hi everyone, Iposted a while ago about my daughter Katie (16) who has been suffering with depression and the start of bulimia. Well, the state of play now is really good! She has as our gp said to her done so well to pull herself nearly out of this depression, with help from the tablets, family, friends and him, but he says its mainly down to her!! She is back tomy lovely girls again. She decided that she needed a new start and after doing a year at one college has organised an interview for another one, been for the interview and been offered a place in September! She is an August baby so with hindsight (god wouldnt it be lovely to have that!!!) she really should have started school later. Anyway!! good news all round, she is eating well and going to the gym regularly and not fanatically like she was and is enjoying a good social life.

We're so proud of her!

Hope you are all well and having some good weather? Lovely and sunny here in Hampshire, we;re off to Brittany in a weeks time, the four of us so fingers crossed for some even better weather!!

lots of love

Heather xxxx

Heather

That is wonderful news about Katie. You have every right to be proud of her. She is obviously a strong young lady and has taken the best step she can by helping herself.

I have a 15 year old Daughter and hormones are rampant and it is a rollercoaster every day. My Mother says what goes around comes around. I was a terrible hormonal teenager and now I am the one getting the trauma.

I would not change my Daughter for the world but all we can do is guide them as best as we can through their changing lives.

I hope Katie continues on her upward path and you all enjoy your holiday in Brittany. Not so sunny today in Shropshire but I suffer with the heat and prefer an even temperature.

Take care

Jackie
